Created by Michael Prince, Senior Lead Practitioner and Visiting Fellow (via PLN) with the Ambition Institute.Concept Repair is a classroom-tested approach to identifying where pupils’ understanding breaks down and systematically repairing it through precise questioning, retrieval, and modelling. This site will host updates, writing, talks and resources linked to the Concept Repair framework.Concept Repair is due for release in autumn 2026 and sets out a practical framework for diagnosing learning breakdowns and responding with precise, evidence-informed repair. The framework has been presented at CogSciSci and Teachers Talk Connect, and has informed published articles for the Royal Society of Chemistry's Education in Chemistry magazine and HWRK.Teachers Talk Connect feedback: over 90% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that the session was useful to their practice.
